Pens and Brushes is an online picture book critique group. We have eight members and come from all over the United States! Every week, one of our members submits a picture book manuscript for critique from the others. We submit and send everything over e-mail, and set up a Yahoo group so that everyone can read everyone else’s e-mails. It helps us feel more like a group.
Formed in January of 2008, we’re a fairly new group, but already we feel like family. We all agree–Pens and Brushes is a great group to be part of! The expertise, the awesome feedback, the marketing tips…and most of all the encouragement from each other have all made this group a highlight of our lives.
